Steak!

16 oz Steak of Your Choice about an inch thick

Salt and Pepper

Butter or Oil

Instructions

Heat oven to 450° .

Heat a cast iron skillet on high. Add a bit of butter and or oil to the pan.  Place steak in pan and cook for 5 minutes per side. Place pan in the oven for another 2 – 3 minutes or until temperature reaches 130-135° for medium rare or 135 – 145° for medium.
